It could still work, but not at a high performanceĢ#: NTFS filesystem on linux systems has a history of very low processing speed. In this case, I had similar issues and it was due to 2 very bad property of using small HDD directly in an USB:ġ#: If you are not using USB 3.0 at least, you'll likely get less power to power up the hard disk at it's maximum effective. It is a small 2'5 HDD is I'm assuming correct.
